Glad you like it. That was pretty much the response I was hoping for. Been wracking my brains for some time now about how to spice things up, since the first game has a lot of setup that I can't really alter. Then I learned that in Trails to Azure Prince Olivert suggests Lloyd Bannings give a guest lecture at Thors. Knowing that Lloyd wouldn't be available at the time I needed, it suddenly occurred to me that Estelle and Joshua would be a good substitute.
It also solved a more minor problem I'd been struggling with, specifically whose POV to use for the First Trial. Rean isn't thinking for most of it, Patrick is irrelevant, Elise is unconscious, and Crow and Celine won't be getting any POV for some time yet.
