The Dynamic is excellently captured. The fishing trip! So cute. Little ellie with her friends is adorable! I'm such a sucker for young Jesse, dina, and cat. Ellies ptsd was terrible and I hated every second of it so good job. The way you wrote the progression of her and Joel's relationship felt true to their characters while still letting us imagine them being happy for once.
i was So Nervous writing this fic because i wanted to stay true to the characters, which was fucking hard lmfao. i tried multiple times before finally settling on this so i really appreciate the praise on their characterization!!! ellie and joel deserved to have a little happiness and god knows we aren't getting it in canon and i took that personally lol. thank you for the comment <3
