Comment on Wings of Fire - Court of Lies

  1. Thank you!

Oh we're planning on letting a controlled dragon talk about how they felt when they were puppets under a spell and Whirlpool?
Oh, we'll have a few trigger warning in the initial notes when his antagonist arc begins, he'll have his time to shine.

    1. thanks, i alwyas liked to imagine Whirlpool as an evil Starflight:
knowladgeable, smart, but cowardly and easily frightend

      1. Yes, when your villain has knowledge and is smart it can be a real threat.
Plus, having the queen herself trust him with his daughters' education and being one of her favorite subjects gives him so much power, it was honestly a real pity that he didn't get more "screentime" to act.

        1. if you wanna take it as a suggestion, i always imagine Whirlpool killing with poison, him attacking Tsunami in book 2 felt sudden, dumb and out of place
i think he would be terrifying if he got a scene where he poisons someone and keeps casually monologuing
