Oh, this is such a lovely story. I am so glad that you shared it. I love this fun idea you made of Cheng Xiaoshi diving into this camping trip, and how Lu Guang and Qiao Ling would hike parallel to him to find this missing time capsule. And what a lovely idea of Lu Guang and Qiao Ling being able to both contact Cheng Xiaoshi in a dive if they held hands!! That is so dear and I love this trio so, so much. Gahhh and Papa Qiao is so steadfast and loving. He loves Cheng Xiaoshi and that is a fact your honor!!

I am so glad that each of the characters got to have a conversation that they needed with a loved one, it was so relieving and cathartic. CXS with Papa Qiao, Papa Qiao with Qiao Ling, Qiao Ling with Lu Guang, and Lu Guang with both QL and CXS. It's like a daisy chain of emotional relief and love and affirmation and I love it. It was such a soft story, it makes me happy to see our babies so happy and enjoying time with each other and simply enjoying life. They all love each other so much and it's so apparent in this story.
" The both of them are so very lonely, and lonely people are different. " THIS. yeah...this, this is what really sets LG and CXS apart. They were both so lonely in their own way, and found such relief and love and home in each other. The devastation they both faced when they thought (or in LG's case, that which actually happened) the other had died.
This is like the 3,2,1!! song in story form , in its essence and joy. Ahhh, what a warm sunbeam of a story. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for reading! I'm glad you like my story. The idea of the trio being able to converse in a dive is actually what started it, especially since it seems Qiao Ling has received an ability too. Yess I love papa Qiao, I didn't want him to give debt to a kid and the idea of Cheng Xiaoshi being the kind of person who feels indebted to someone who cares for him makes sense in my head. Hence the no debt, debt that he has to papa Qiao.
I'm glad you like the cathartic conversations. They all need therapy, or at least someone to talk to. Qiao Ling talks with papa Qiao and Lu Guang were probably my favorite part to write.
They're a found family okayy? I just want to write them being happy and having fun while also not ignoring the trauma they received in season 2. (Or September 13th)
