Thank you! I had a lot of fun with the world building. The prompt was 'Prompto shows Noct around Niflheim' and then I wanted Prompto to have a home he could be proud of. So basically my thought was 'what if Iedolas still had something to live for'? In the game he was described as a well loved ruler, so what if he stayed that way? I imagine he also had a home that people were happy with. No dead shiva means no eternal winter... Anyway, it was a fun thought experiment!
I also don't imagine Iedolas would let his heir apparent get away with nearly as much as Regis let Noct get away with! Thatr poor kid did not have the right to live a normal life, he needed to be prepared for the throne!
Also also, the hard wall in Insomnia always bothered me. Creates a two tier citizenship status. Not cool, bro.
