No need to apologize! I love your reviews and very much appreciate you taking what time you have to leave them for me!
Seriously, thank you, I've been in a funk and these cheer me up.
1. The red blanket is everywhere. If I don't see it in the fic when I'm editing I try to figure out if I can toss it in because continuity is important - especially when we're jumping around the series timeline. 2. I wanted to let Maria sleep lol that's literally why I wrote it like that. Poor thing is always having nightmares or jumping out of bed after Natasha when she has a nightmare. She needs her rest! 3. Steve is easy to pick on, but he does have a few decent qualities. Natasha, too, is so good and noble at heart, I think they get each other. 4. A lot of these earlier fics in the series have a lot of the building blocks to the relationship and they were so much fun to write and it's been fun to edit and post them, too. I forgot just how fluffy and sappy they were!
My Arms Are Open has also been fun to go back and do the edits on. The angst is fun, but mostly because I also love the hurt/comfort of it, and it helps the comedy to land better when there's more light-hearted bits. Those two are very squishy, and that's also a later story in the timeline, though not as far as I Drink You In. I'm really excited to work on some of those earlier stories as well, to explore how they got to where they are in My Arms Are Open.
Red Sorrow update is next on my rotation list!
Thank you, again, so much for taking the time to read and leave these reviews. It means a lot to me!
