    I admit, I chuckled a bit at this one. Despite being very much fandom blind, I can just imagine the two trying to control a big water strider like one would a car or other vehicle, one poking at brainstems and trying to keep control of the big bug and the other being that backseat driver, I find it pretty funny to imagine. And then when they realize they could have used the water walking spell and didn't need to ride a big bug in the first place is pretty funny. I loved this fic, and thought it was pretty funny.
