Comment on Whose Monkey is this?!

  1. I’m gonna worry anyways! 1 am just isn’t healthy but I am glad that you won’t have jet lag I guess?
If it makes you feel better I sometimes call people younger than me ma’am (it’s like a term of endearment for me sorta, I do it with friends [usually as a joke])
That’s really funny for him to forget but he sounds like a hilarious person! 🤣 So glad you have a good one!
I think Ace IS gonna actually suffer the most, but Marco or someone sane like that will be a close second…and wow, those are some good and important questions that now make me wonder exactly how the scene will unfold. Guess I’ll just have to keep reading 😋 What a “shame” 😁
I have an idea, honestly the idea would likely work as a multi-chapter better so we’ll have to see how the writing flushes out but it will be great! I just hope you’ll like it when it eventually comes out!
I hope it will be good too, lol. Had to wake up at 5:30 for seminary (which is my typical Monday-Thursday) and then I have school but I have that essay in and now just have to worry about math really. Please take care out yourself Author-San! (Beginner-San? I mean, why not, we’ll see if I continue using that I guess)

    1. I see it as a form of preparation, honestly. If I’m going to be in a time zone that’s six hours behind home, at least I won’t be completely wiped out and crawling into bed by 8 p.m. the first few days.
Yeah, I’m kind of fond of him.😉 He actually planned the whole trip and in return, I get to listen to his thought process on which (Roman Catholic) church he picks for Sunday mass in each city we’re visiting. Balance.
5:30??? Four times a week?? That’s brutal. And school on top of it, where people expect you to think properly?💀💀
When I have to be in the office early, I’m productive for maybe three hours max and the rest of the time I’m just chatting with coworkers or mentally zoning out in meetings. It's only awkward when people actually expect something from me, which is why I only handle important appointments from the comfort of my home office.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Seminary, like theological training? Here, that’s usually a place where men study to become Catholic priests, so I was curious if it's the same in California.
Hope you have a great day, Gr8Reader!💞

      1. Honestly that does make sense, I’ve never had to deal with bad jet lag as I’ve usually just traveled through California (which is huge)
That is a VERY good balance, like, that’s just amazing. That’s a good husband.
You get used to it, and gladly my first 2 periods don’t have much happen in them, the 1st one is even with my brother so it’s a lot of card games.
That is so real, when I try to do homework I instead just read (typically fanfiction)…it’s the source of much of my existential dread
Seminary for me is sorta a morning church class. I have about 15-20 people in my class (depends on the day) I actually really like it I just have some trouble staying awake…but hot coco helps there
You have a good day to Beginner-San❣️

        1. Absolutely! So far, I’ve only seen San Francisco, L.A., and a bit of the surrounding area in California and while it wasn’t quite what I had pictured, to be fair, that was nearly ten years ago. I’m really looking forward to visiting the national parks someday! Other than that, I’ve mostly been on the East Coast (with the exception of Las Vegas) and that’s where we’ll be again this time. My husband would love to do a California road trip at some point, do you have any recommendations?
Hot cocoa? Respect. I’d be completely non-functional without my coffee.🥲
I think I’ll post another chapter of something tomorrow and then probably not again until after we’ve arrived, so maybe Friday or Saturday.
Take care until then and don’t fall asleep in class, Gr8Reader!🤣🤣🤣

          1. Those are really awesome places and in San Francisco the Exploratorium is awesome! Definitely not just for kids, it has a load of science exhibits with an emphasis on personal interaction!

A California roadtrip? That sounds fun to do (would be expensive though but if you’re coming from Germany to California I guess that’s a given, lol) I am personally really biased to the Trinity Alps! If you like the woods/mountains and camping it’s definitely for you. I grew up in a small town there before moving like, 3 years ago but still commonly visit! Redwoods are awesome to see too, it’s actually incredible how HUGE those trees are! I mainly know Northern California due to it being where I’ve lived most of my life in. My friends suggests Santa Monica Peer (SoCal), Lassen as well, Griffith observatory, Fort Bragg, La Brea Tarpits, and the list goes on…

Due to my religion which has something called the Word of Wisdom (basically a guide on don’t pit this in your body or do this to your body) I have never tried coffee, and I’ll be honest; I don’t want to…it doesn’t smell good, and with the addiction that runs in my family, it would be a bad idea cause coffee has THC which is addicting…so yummy, yummy hot cocoa!

I’ll look forward to whatever you do post whenever you post cause you are an AMAZING author and feed my my obsession tropes and just all the wonderful things!

I will take care but too late for the 2nd…my math teacher is a sweetheart but she is an AWFUL teacher…Take care Beginner-San!

            1. Thank you so much! I’ve already taken notes. One question though and feel free not to answer if it’s too personal. I was wondering if a large portion of the content shared on AO3 aligns well with your faith? If I’ve understood correctly, engaging with certain types of stories might be considered… let’s say, not fully in harmony with your church's standards? Religious perspectives that fall outside of the major churches I grew up around are still quite unfamiliar to me, so I hope you don’t mind me asking, it’s just genuine curiosity, not judgment!!!!!!

              1. Oh, it’s not problem, I actually love talking about my church! Some of the things shared don’t align with my religion but I have gotten REALLY good at avoiding things. For example, in your fic Kui Kui when there is an inappropriate scene I pretty well just jump over it really fast and whereas I prefer for those types of scenes to not be in it as it is highly personal I understand not everyone shares the same same morals and religion. Overall, one of the biggest things in my religion is that even if we make a mistake we can repent of it infinitely as well, so that’s always a nice assurance for if I do stumble across a story like that even with the referencing the tags. Overall, I really just want a good story and to feed my ever living One Piece obsession. Happy to explain more if you want as well Beginner-San!

                1. I see, that makes sense. In our tradition, the forgiveness of sins goes through a priest, to whom we confess. The priest, acting in God's name, reconciles us with the Church and the world around us though of course, if we've really messed up badly, civil or criminal law or whatever still applies. As it should. The priest, however cannot disclose anything.
Confession is one of the seven sacraments that are meant to bring us closer to God, from baptism to anointing (that sounds funny in English) of the sick (“last rites”), which is especially relevant before major surgeries or in old age when someone is seriously ill.
That said, I don’t always go to confession before visiting a church, so I don’t receive communion, the Body of Christ. Most people still do, but I choose not to. For me, confessing my sins is a requirement to receive communion.
Will you be going on a mission after school? And if so, do you get to choose where you’re sent, or is it assigned?
Oops, it’s late again. Good night, see you tomorrow! Should I conjure up a new chapter here, or do you wanna read Raising Gods OR Little Luffy’s Fifth Birthday? ✨That will be a mess!✨
                  Any preference, dear Gr8Reader?

                  1. Honestly, religion is such a personal thing that different people do things different ways even if they are the same religion. I know some people I. My church will keep notecards with what they want to repent for by their bedside and repent every night, some do it immediately, some at the end of a week, but most commonly we forget or line it up with the sacrament every Sunday.
I do in fact plan on going on a mission post school and one of my brothers in fact just turned in his papers! We don’t get to choose where we go, our church is worldwide and our mission papers end up going all the way to the prophet. We can put things like preferences and medical reasons will sometimes keep you near certain types of places though.
Hope you a good night Beginner-San and to be frank, I will be absolutely overjoyed by any of them! I have a basis for the plot that I want to go with but now I just have to start the writing…
