Yeah unfortunately that's the best solution Satan could come up with. When you're trying to do damage control while also protecting an entire realm, you can make some not great decisions about it. Not sure if I conveyed it well, but the order doesn't stop Peter from knowing what actually happened to his family. He can remember their last words to him fine, and any imagery of memories associated with it. He just can't think any phrases having to do with Agnes' spell; it'll auto-complete as Satan's order
