    I am gnawing on this comment because it'll sustain me for the next several weeks while I work on ch 4. Godddd it's all of this PLUS the added layer of GUILT for daring to be happy or move forward without the ones you love as if to honor them, you have to mourn them forever. And that's so not the case and your loved ones would never actually want that for you UGHHHH it makes me ill. Lyra is just as contradictory as Loop sometimes too and I love that this is just how they are lol She doesn't WANT to move on but she doesn't want to ackowledge the dad-shaped hole in her heart either. No matter what she does, it'll hurt and that's just how it goes. But she cleans anyway because it's not just her anymore. And if she wants them to stay, it has to be a place worth staying teehee

    ILL BE SO REAL at the end I was only thinking of the post about the depressed 4chan incel that got his life together after obtaining some pet shrimp. That's Loop. They're the shrimp that Lyra is getting her life together for LOL

    And yep. She has NOOOO clue just how much trauma her sibling has. Can't wait to unlock some of that in the future >:) if she could ever get the whole story out of them, she'd be horrified teehee
