"Hijinx ensue ❤️🩹" could be the alternate summary for this story 😭 I am definitely cooking up some angst and heartache for these two, but they need the challenge~ It's true, if they can't be honest with each other that connection will be lost!
It's really Carmine's low self esteem that makes soulmates seem like the easiest explanation for Lux's interest in him. Which makes it even worse that Lux's primary motivation is actually just money. We've entered Act 2, so if I'm gonna keep this story under 70k I gotta get these them together lol
I'm really enjoying writing about the differences in their cultural perspectives. That line about how nobody else has ever asked if Carmine's scars hurt made me so sad (īī ^ īī) I'm just so excited for Carmine and Lux to learn more about each other ◝(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) ◜♡
