To often in both movies and television shows, Dr Watson is portrayed as an older bumbling sidekick. Not sure why I love the doctor’s character and wished someone like Sherlock wanted me at their side but John had to be someone with a unique presence.
Caregiver, medical professional and a dedicated military man. Educated, brave and honorable. This author created a series where we get to take a glimpse of who John is and why Sherlock chose him to share his life.
The case fics are written so well. Great creation by a talented writer.
