Lan Wangji stops before the corpses guarding the Burial Mounds. Without a killing aura the corpses don’t react to Lan Wangji’s presence, and they wait for him to make his move. Lan Wangji pulls Bichen out and sets it on the ground to show he means no harm. He does the same with Wangji and then takes a step back.
“I am here to see Wei Ying,” Lan Wangji announces.
