Bakugou fell silent for a bit, just leaning into Kirishima's caressing hand and even nudging his head like a cat leaning into pets.
"Well, I already told you I put a seal on you. It lets me know where you are whenever I want. More even, if I put more magic into it."
His hair was soft and smelled like lavender, but it was easy to feel a wide scar on the back of his head.
Blunt wound, long since healed.
"Doesn't explain why you put it on me, or why you wanted to know at all."
He didn't know if there was an answer he wanted to hear. Just that he need to know what was going through Bakugou's head.
"It's a silly reason," came the answer eventually and Kirishima had to chuckle.
"Don't tell me you still believe that flower wreaths truly tie fates together and we're good."

They had their own little tradition, sort of. Maybe a ritual? Katsuki didn't know how to call it.
Eijirou would come home to him bloody and beaten, sometimes one leg over the Death's treshhold, and in his bag would always be a gift. An apology, even if he didn't call it that, something he found or even spent his payment on. He was weird like that, insisting on living frugal even if he didn't have to.
And even if they never called it that, Katsuki would always wear Eijirou's gifts for him. Apology accepted.
This time was not an exception.
