They lapse into another silence. It lasts shorter, because Lance soon blurts out, “Can I run a hypothetical by you?” before he can second guess anything or talk himself out of having this conversation.
Shiro eyes him, not judgmentally but curiously. Then, he nods. “Sure, go ahead.”
OR, Lance wants to come out to Hunk, but still has some worries about doing so. Luckily, Shiro is there to help him talk through it – hypothetically, of course.
