Summary
You know the story. Bella Swan contends with secrets, bad weather, and her own self-discovery in a tiny town overrun with supernatural forces. Except things are a little different this time.
This is my rewrite of Twilight — intended to steal the worldbuilding I like and diverge from the plot of the original books — most importantly by making BOTH main characters gay. I've also added some nuance to the worldbuilding to incorporate things I enjoy in vampire lore. I've got really overt with the religious trauma. And lastly, I've worked in a diverse cast, some actual personality for the women, and some thought behind the indigenous issues. Oh, and did I mention, it's set in New Zealand?
