Summary
Castiel gets into a little trouble with his angel family and goes to the only person he can still trust for help. As usual, things get messier before they get better.
This is an retelling/AU of season 6 where Cas doesn't become Godstiel and instead Dean, Sam and Cas fight Raphael together. Well, sort of. Nothing is ever that simple with these three.
...Bobby steps closer. “He does seem …off.”
“Says he’s still him.” Dean says neutrally, letting the smile drop.
“Well, would he know if he wasn’t?”
Good point, Dean thinks wearily, pouring in detergent and slamming the lid down, jabbing the start button with the same force he’d gank a demon. He trusts Cas, he really does. To have his back in a fight. To protect them from those who would seek to do harm. But his personal judgement? Cas can be… morally ambiguous at times. Part and parcel of being an Angel he supposes. Though how long they can still say that even is unclear.
“He’s falling.”
