Nearing forty years of age and far too married to his job, senior auror Harry Potter reluctantly travels across the pond and away from his collapsed social life for a short reconnaissance mission on some weirdo who's been flaunting the Statute of Secrecy. Knowing the Potter Luck, along with attracting the attention of an upbeat, eccentric teenager and the presence of an alien magic in town, the mission doesn't stay simple for long, or short.

Luz Noceda had no idea what she was in for when she ran away through that magical door. According to her favorite book, she’d meet an old lady who would teach her to be a witch and get into all sorts of mischief, along with an adorable little demon roommate to adventure with. Instead she stumbles into a grumpy, paranoid, mysterious wizard who has as little knowledge on this place as she does, now tasked with keeping her safe, their way home long gone.
Harry Potter and Luz Noceda get stranded together on the Boiling Isles, but maybe that might not be such a bad thing.

Summary
Luz Noceda and Harry Potter have done a lot together. Got stranded together on the Boiling Isles, made new friends and allies, discovered a forgotten way of magic, tested each other's limits (a lot), rebelled against the empire and stormed the Emperor's Castle, and most importantly of all, found something in each other they didn't know they'd been missing.
Both Luz and Harry finished that journey, got the portal door and the ability to return to the lives they created on the Isles whenever they wanted, but that doesn't mean things are over. Luz has to reconcile with the fact her life is spread across two realms now, and Harry will have to hold on to the light Luz has returned to him in the face of old friends, foes, and burnt bridges. That's not to mention what else is brewing in the background, both on the Boiling Isles and in the Wizarding World, uncaring of their tribulations.
With their return to Earth, the world has just opened up so much more. And that means there's plenty of things to cover.
