It was barely an argument compared to everything else they worried themselves over. Disputes in tangled entrails and twisted veins. It was petty. Gold or silverware. Fish or cow. Blade or hands. Miniscule preferences at odds. (Very little to disagree over, but they had.) Will continues to fume; colder than the shower he turns off.
Not once has the bathroom door opened.
To put it simply: Hannibal Lecter has spoiled him. So, as adrenaline and anger die down, Will takes a bath.

“Permit me to see it. Allow me to see you again, Will.”
“Permit you?”” Will turns his head to look at him. “You’ve never needed permission.” An admission with a foul flavor on his tongue. Will scrunches his face over the words, pulling and wrinkling the scar on his face. “It’s nothing to worry about.”
Hannibal isn’t being shut out completely but the lack of anything on his face tells Will it is worse. “I shouldn’t be worried about it either.”or
Will has nightmares. He knows he isn't sick and he does not have anything to stress himself over and yet...
