Summary
During the Wutai War Shinra’s young war hero Sephiroth is sent to Nibelheim to cool down and take a break from all the killing after the rumors of a so-called “Demon of Wutai” started to circulate.
His face yet unknown to the large public, 17-year old Sephiroth actually looks forward to having some privacy and rest, even if it comes in the form of being an incognito high school exchange student in the middle of nowhere. Not yet sure about his place in the world, he meets young Cloud Strife, a local outdoorsy boy only a year younger than Sephiroth.
What happens when Shinra’s greatest starts feeling a strange pull towards this spiky-haired country bumpkin with the most beautiful eyes Sephiroth has ever seen?
Kind of EC!Sephiroth x pre-OG!Cloud alternative timeline fic.

Summary
Cloud and Sephiroth were teenage sweethearts during Sephiroth's one-year stay in Nibelheim. But to save Cloud's life, Sephiroth was forced to leave both Nibelheim and Cloud and return to his role as a General. In the process he broke Cloud's heart.
A few years later they meet again when Shinra sends Sephiroth to inspect the malfunctioning reactor. Too bad Cloud isn't exactly interested.
But, will he eventually prevent Nibelheim from burning and save Sephiroth? And why is he sensing an otherworldly threat emanating from the reactor?
Will they EVER reconcile and get a chance to be happy together?
Takes place immediately after "If I am the sky you are my star" ( EC!Seph (-ish) + pre-OG Cloud)
