Summary
When he gets to the alcove, plastic zip lock bags banging off his hip as he walks, Tim is already there. This is the perfect pace because half of it is in water that's shallow enough it probably only reaches to Jason's shins, and then the other half is sand. The whole thing is covered by a cave, keeping it cool. Jason won't sweat so much, won't feel too hot and get actually annoyed, and Tim will be able to stay wet — something Jason has learnt he has to be otherwise his scales will dry and peel off painfully.
He's lazily flapping his fins in the water, splashing himself, while leaning back on his elbows. The sight of him, stretched and relaxed on the beach, is borderline obscene. Tim is... longer (??) than he looks, tail stretching out for at least five feet. His torso gives him another two. Jason has never felt smaller than when he lies down beside him.
