Summary
On a night on patrol like so many others, Batgirl rescues a priest from a pair of thieves-- then is intrigued when he pleads she show them mercy and asks what she believes in. No one has ever suggested faith play a role in Cassandra Cain's life before, and, moved by his compassion, she feels compelled to learn of his beliefs.
At the same time, a gang of Christian terrorists reveal themselves to Gotham, ready to dispense their own ideas of holy retribution.
Beset by dueling ideologies born of the same religion, Cassandra battles evil as she struggles with the question, "What is this faith? And could it finally be the key to forgiving and loving myself?"
So begins the life-changing religious odyssey of Cassandra Cain.

Summary

And, in the midst of this, a pair of assassins arrive in Gotham seeking revenge on David Cain's bloodline.
