Summary
A "stolen" wife amdist a world rebuilding after a century of war, a repentant Fire Nation trying to redeem its wrongs and earn good deeds. Excuse for invasion or not, the wife who left the Northern Tribe Chief will be reclaimed, even if the poles of the South, and the Capital City of the Southern Tribe, Annakpok, must melt.
An AU of the Avatar series with events inspired by the movie Troy and their versions of the Illiad. There will be differences, in both characters and events, with emphasis on key characters, battles, war, strategy and hopefully some the nuance within.
While serving in similar roles to the Illiad/Troy counterparts, The Avatar characters are very much themselves and not heavily influenced by the Illiad characterizations.

Summary
The fragile peace of a world without the Avatar is felt plainly. Although the Hundred Years War is over, and Iroh reigns as Fire Lord, many who supported Ozai during his usurpation of the throne push against his more tolerant and peaceful intentions. He is an older man now, and with his son unable to fight in the field and show himself as a powerful leader, his nephew Zuko is in line for the throne.
There is tension in the courts. Azula lives, and though officially pardoned, no one is certain she can be trusted with the reins of power again.
There is danger in the Fire Nation and its colonies, and whispers from the underground of Ba Sing Se that will pull the Four Nations into War once more.
If Prince Zuko is to unite the Fire Nation and aim it to a better future and peace, he'll need a wife more righteous than he. Even if she comes from the Water Tribe.
