Summary
If he were the same man he was six years ago, he’d think it was inevitable. He’d say that the thing they shared was so big, so massive, that it had its own orbit, and they were destined to spin around it, its very own magnetic field drawing them closer together until they collided yet again.
But he’s different now, so he doesn’t even think about it. Not as a possibility, not as an abstract concept.
