Sunoo shakes his head through aborted breaths. "It's too far away. I'm not strong enough right now. We'll have to get the healers to come here."
Jake nods his head in understanding and doesn't press further, despite the worrying sight of an unmoving Heeseung in his arms. It won't take long for the agency to send people over, and in the mean time, they have their own healer. Speaking of...
"What the fuck happened?" Jungwon's voices pierces through the silence of the apartment as he comes skidding into the hallway. He takes in the sight of the injured agents and runs his fingers through his hair with a deep inhale.

A deafening explosion cuts through the room like a knife. The tech agents hiss, pulling their headphones off in instinct. Sunoo covers his ears with a flinch.
"What was that?" Jungwon asks, unfazed by the noise but inching towards the monitors like he can climb through them and help. Jake hasn't moved from where he's stood, but his breath catches.
"Don't know." an agent replies, typing furiously. "Psy. Come in Psy."
Silence.
Jake thinks he might vomit.
And then, the vitals monitor goes dark.

Summary
Sunghoon reaches forward then, hand outstretched to find the shivering skin of his lover. He expects Jungwon to crowd into him, wrap his arms around Sunghoon and take him far from all of this. How did he even get here? Jungwon's fingers interlace with his and it feels so right.
What he doesn't expect, is for Jungwon to freeze. He stops moving, rooted to the spot in the blanket of snow. Sunghoon looks up from their hands and into Jungwon's dark eyes, which are now misted by something akin to fear. Looking down again, Sunghoon's heart drops to the balls of his feet.
