Recently Aaron had been thinking—overthinking, again—the friendship question, but unfortunately his feelings on the subject remained a mystery, even to himself. Sometimes he wanted to talk to Alex, unrestrained, unfiltered, in a way he hadn’t since he was a child. Sometimes he wanted to shoot the man. And sometimes, most alarmingly, he wanted to touch him.
