This part of the story starts in August, 2000 and goes through April, 2001. Daria is off to Raft University in Boston, majoring in Anthropology, but planning on taking writing courses as well. She has tested out of most Freshman-level classes. An autumn opening occurred at BFAC, so Jane is off to Boston at the same time rather than having to wait until January to start.
