Summary
Sundays were for Shane. Every other day of the week was dedicated to his many responsibilities, big or small. Between mandatory team practices and never ending brand work and game days and press obligations and, more recently, calls and stolen moments with Ilya, Shane never finds himself alone with time to just…be. So, he decided, Sundays were Shane days.
Or; Shane likes to use his one free day a week to let go of all his responsibilities to be small in his too-big world. Ilya likes spending his one free day thinking about Shane. He finds him, very little and very cute, on one random Sunday.

Summary
In the days following what he was now calling the “Sunday Ordeal”, Shane had tried to carefully recraft the normalcy that he and Ilya had built before he caught him so small. It does not work.
Or; Shane tried to pretend the events of Sundays for Shane did not happen, and Ilya wants to let Shane know he is a safe space. He messes up, and meltdowns ensue, but don't worry, Ilya - as always- makes it all better.

Summary
Ilya lets exactly one day go by before he decides to sit Shane down to have a proper talk about their shifting dynamic. He’s always been naturally dominant, but now it looks like caregiving is a new facet of that domination, and as his dom, he can not let Shane hide from this major part of himself again.
Or; Ilya and Shane have the talk, they reach a new understanding. Shane finds himself missing Ilya maybe a bit too much, and Hayden is a good friend.

“Papa,” Shane whispered, “it’s Shane and Papa day, we gotta wake up now, or we won’t have time and we’ll miss it.”
“My love, it is 6 in the morning. The team will not be here until 6 pm tonight. That is twelve hours lyubov, we will have plenty of time."
Shane and his Papa have a special day planned, and Shane wants it to be perfect. Nothing ever is, though.
