In an alternate timeline of the OVA, Akko’s apology had not been accepted by Sucy or Lotte (thanks to Diana’s meddling), and she barely managed to survive the giant’s attack with the help of her new friends in the Green Team, Akko made a formal request to be swapped to the green team, and now shares their dorm.
Akko the lazy loudmouth, Amanda the petty thief, Constanze the tech dealer, and Jasminka the smuggler. While none of them were considered to be powerful, they were united by being considered the biggest delinquents at Luna Nova. To anyone looking at the outside in, they were a dysfunctional band of issues that'd be better off expelled. But to each other, they were quickly becoming a family.

Four years have passed since Akko arrived at Luna Nova. In the previous year, the girls she had befriended graduated from the academy and each one went their separate ways, just like Kagari, who had to go through a lot during her studies, including meeting a girl named Diana Cavendish, whom she began to date. When she graduated and was sure she would return to Japan, she received an invitation from the Scottish girl to live in the family's mansion and an affectionate proposal from the beautiful blonde who asked her to marry her.
Akko spent a long time adapting and experiencing many ups and downs, sometimes having to deal with Daryl and her daughters' disrespect, but this the girl got used to, even more so with the fact that Diana was a lesbian, shocking the entire noble class.
One day like any other Akko was rummaging through Bernadette Cavendish's old bedroom until he found something that had been a huge family secret until then.
Upon discovering this secret Akko, decides that she wants to make a surprise involving the photograph she eventually found, but why is a photograph a secret and why does it get to the point of creating so much?

It's been five years since Chariot du Nord quit performing and seven years since she unlocked Grand Triskelion with her legendary lover Croix Meridies, yet they still need a way to "bring the world in one" to revive Yggdrasil. However, neither of them feels stressed like they were younger, as they know they're both making progress in spreading magic. They cherish the past they've been through and are ready to face awaiting challenges together.
Constanze is satisfied with her school life with her friends, whom grant her peace with little adventures...at least until she figures she's surprisingly intrigued by the new mysterious modern magic researcher at the beginning of her second semester in something more than the latter's glamour and talent. As Constanze tries to recognize her feelings emerged between summer and fall, she never expects she'd intwine with the flow of time so deeply. She gradually walks into the mist without awareness, while the wheels begin to turn.
