Narcissism, Machiavellianism, Psychopathy. There is no world, anywhere, where the Dark Triad makes for a good leader. It can make someone very driven and effective at obtaining and keeping power, but only at the expense of everyone and everything else. Competence does not excuse evil, it only makes its damage worse, no matter what propaganda and revisionist history likes to say. In a world where everyone else up to the gods themselves is living with blinders on, a middle brother makes the only decision that makes sense.

Summary
Manaria Aeducan was once the princess of Orzammar, 2nd in line to the throne and a general in the Dwarven army. Now she is a Grey Warden, an exile, and a kinslayer.
Basically my thoughts on how Aeducan must have been feeling if they missed Orzammar as they had to return. Some romance with Morrigan but far more focus on Manaria's inner turmoil.
