So this is an AU where Athena acts like the goddess of wisdom that she is.
After Poseidon's rebellion, she starts to notice that some things don't add up and while she tries to investigate secretly, Zeus decides on an engagement between Ares and Athena. To her luck, Ares decides to go off on his own to get stronger, planning to beat Athena in battle before marrying her. While he's gone, Athena works tirelessly to atop all her work while also planning to track down Poseidon's reincarnation. In doing so, Athena hopes to find a sense of closure after finding out what really happened and if everything falls into her favor, she can also avoid her arranged marriage and choose her own happiness. -
