Summary
A black cat who hasn't tasted freedom in four years is rescued by a strange crimson sword that seems to know a whole lot and not much at all at the same time. That sword makes the black cat, Fran, her wielder, gives Fran her name, and makes Fran stronger than she could've imagined, before, but there's still a long way to go before she can accomplish her goal.
