Scylla is engaged to the most eligible bachelor in the city, however, secrets from her past continue to haunt her. They come in the form of a gorgeous blonde with blue eyes who she married in high school and refuses to give her a divorce.

Summary
Raelle took one look at the dancer on stage and knew that she was trouble. The blonde detective had no desire to succumb to the young woman who was currently tantalizing the audience with her provocative movements and her killer body.
Raelle watched the crowd, internally scoffing at the brainless men who were whistling and throwing their money at her, knowing very well that the stripper had no intention of satisfying their fantasies.
All the sensuous moves were just an illusion, to get the men hard so they would pull out their wallets and Raelle wasn't falling for it.
That was until the dancer looked directly at her, flashing her blue alluring eyes and ripping away the very thing that Raelle had been protecting herself with ever since she can remember.

Raelle’s heart pressed against her rib cage as she looked at Scylla and even up close she was gorgeous. Her chestnut brown hair sat in shoulder length waves and her perfume was so enticing that it chased everything out of the blonde’s mind in a matter of seconds and she forgot the question

Scylla struggled to get her head above the water, watching as the sun-speckled surface appeared and disappeared. Her legs were tired and her body hurt as she fought to get the air back into her lungs. She felt pressure under her arms and before she knew it she was kissing the sand
Raelle dumped Scylla's almost lifeless body on the beach "What the hell do you think you're doing? Trying to get yourself killed?"
Scylla's body contorted as she coughed and splattered the ocean water out of her lungs "Thank you", she gasped, slowly catching her breath back and air had never felt so good
Raelle glared down at the brunette, frustrated beyond words that she had to save some random girl from being fish food "You're way out of your league out here"
