The rumbling snarl had all three of them freezing in place.
”Uh?” Zoey said very slowly, pulling her hands away from the tiger’s head. He had moved it just out of her reach to press his muzzle closer to Rumi and was staring up at Mira with decidedly less stupidity than he normally did. Worse than all of that his teeth were far bigger than they usually were and they were also decidedly fully bared. “Derpy?”

Summary
Zoey giggled and nuzzled impossibly closer. Rumi could feel her rub her cheek against the side of her neck—where her scent gland would be—and sniff the area. The action tickled the sensitive skin and sent a pleasant shudder down her spine. In the back of her mind, Rumi vaguely registered how the need to itch the area lessened.
Zoey paused and leaned back to look at Rumi. A curious look crossed her face, and Rumi raised one eyebrow in question.
“You kinda smell different,” Zoey simply stated. There were no teasing undertones in that sentence, just a factual finality.
OR
Rumi had spent her entire life believing that she was a beta. Why wouldn't she considering she never presented as anything else. However, as it turns out, training to be an idol and demon hunter while carrying the responsibility of fixing the Honmoon since she was young can be stress inducing.
When things finally settle down after they create the new Honmoon, Rumi begins to notice subtle changes--her scent, smells, and behaviors. A reluctant visit to the doctor reveals that she's finally presenting as an omega. Rumi has a crisis while Mira and Zoey try not to freak out.

This is a crackfic, inspired by other fanfictions I enjoyed, included but not limited to: Intercession, a wand for skitter, Hogwarts an escalation, Friendly Fyre, among others. Any semblance is not coincidental.
It's been ages since I read the HP books and Worm story. My knowledge is probably tainted by fandom, which is fine. If you find something that is egregiously different from canon, feel free to drop a line and tell me about it. I won't promise to change things tho.

Summary
He wasn't a Butcher.
That first immortal back in '87, he could have been, maybe if his life was just a little worse, maybe if he'd grown up with more of a bite, maybe if he had the Teeth for it.
But he wasn't a Butcher.
Instead he was a Guardian and that... that made all the difference.
Eleven heroes carried that name, the torch passed one after the other, sometimes it was an accident, sometimes it was intentional, in Taylor's case, it was out of obligation.
But becoming the Thirteenth Guardian wasn't what she expected and housed in a new mind, their wills made their own, the former heroes that made up that great symbol start to realize that maybe those little accidents weren't accidents at all.
(For those that don't care for vagueness: Hero!Butcher fic, now with significantly less mind control) (Think QCIC but the author has more respect for herself)
