Summary
It started with a name written in the sand. Guest 666. It was supposed to be a warning, a mark of something cursed. But Noob had only seen a friend who liked colas and quiet places. Now, staring at the monster Sixer had become, Noob realized the warning wasn't for the world—it was for them.
"It was the only way... the only way I could stand beside you," Sixer whispered, his voice a fractured echo of the friend Noob once knew. They were supposed to be a team, surviving the shadows of all these new missing people!- together—but the shadows had started to look more like home to Sixer than any friend ever did. When a late-night confrontation reveals the blood on Sixer's hands and the hunger in his eyes, Noob realizes that "standing beside" someone is a lot more dangerous when they’ve stopped being human.
And they would have ignored it all over again.
OR
A story about how Noob and Sixer's friendship survived Six's literal thirst for blood, but might not survive their own stubbornness. It turns out Sixer is a terrible liar, and Noob is starting to realize that being a vampire isn't nearly as cool as the movies made it look.
