The two are forced to consider if they are the worst or best things for each other. On one side Karins death haunted Sasuke since the day he saw it. On the other side Naruto missed her with every fiber of his being. Their feelings on the situation couldn't be more different, but they were both broken because of the same thing and when it came down to it they understood each other deeply. The only question is whether or not the understanding was worth it.
