All he heard were his own screams mixed with the snarls of the dogs. And then suddenly— it stopped.
Silence.
Only his own quiet sobs remained, ragged a trembling in the still air.
Slowly, cautiously, he opened his eyes...and gasped. The dogs were gone.
In their place stood a man dressed in white. He blinked rapidly, tears blurring the figure In front of him.
Who was he?
Had he really came to save him?
"Are you alright?"
