(I feel like half of this is a day in the life of the rulers of the Empire and the other half is how we got there,I don't know how else to describe this weird format I went with lol)

Summary

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away when Luke Skywalker is found by his father, the course of his life changes forever and so does the galaxy. Vader knows his son will never be safe as long as Palpatine sits on the throne, so thus it begins, and all is as the Force wills with a new adventure of forging alliances, a secret rebellion, and finding family in even the strangest of times. And it begins something like this, a story about a boy with stars in his eyes who was meant to kill his father, a girl with red gold hair who was meant to never know family or love, and a man in a mask who thought he had become the monster.

As a rule, Vader didn't really do anything with his social media account, but then the rant of some kid from Tatooine about the inefficiency of TIE Fighters began trending, the pilots and engineers on the Devastator started fixing their ships and Vader got invested.
“Welcome to another episode of Scrap Hunting,” the teenager in the video said. He took a sip of water from the metallic canteen he was holding, drinking slow and carefully the way only a desert dweller did. “A couple weeks ago some sleemo commented that I’d never be able to improve any Imperial ships since I’m just Outer Rim trash. And I suppose you did have a point that the things I fix won’t ever reach the level of an Imperial TIE because I wouldn’t build such trash in the first place.”

Summary
This is an AU of loosingletters' The Background Noise Of Defiance verse
Instead of Luke inadvertently revealing to his anonymous holonet friend that his last name is Skywalker, thus revealing himself as the son of said holonet friend (yes, Darth Vader has a Space Twitter), he keeps mum and instead takes on Vader's job offer, becoming the new Head Engineer aboard the Executor, alias, the Lady. While he's thrilled to be there, thriving on getting to improve the lackluster hardware that gets shunted onto the rank-and-file of the Empire and building up a rapport with the mysterious Sith Lord who is fast becoming the father figure he never had, not everyone aboard is as happy about the young engineer shaking up the previously well-cemented hierarchy of the Lady.
But ask Luke and Vader if they care. All Piett knows is that this is gonna be one hell of a headache and way above his paygrade. At least he gets to see his boss be put in his place by a teenage engineer and Lord Vader himself.
