Summary
Mr. Bingley agreed to meet Jane Bennet at a glory hole, but doesn't think he can go through with it. He asks Mr. Darcy to take his place, lest Jane think Bingley backed out. Meanwhile, Jane asks Elizabeth Bennet to take her place, as she does not think she can do it but wants BIngley to be happy. Darcy and Elizabeth meet at the glory hole, neither knowing who is on the other side. But during the encounter, they each realize who they really want on the other side.

Her jest drew a smile from him, though his gaze remained on the silk in his hand, as if appraising its properties, as if contemplating its fragility against its strength. A moment passed, and then he lifted his gaze to find hers in the mirror, his eyes now holding a speculative light.
“That is a very particular look you have in your eye, Mr. Darcy,” she said, as she turned to face him. “One that rarely precedes a quiet evening.”
