Summary

After Huaisang’s explanation, Wei Wuxian could do nothing but sit and stare at his friend dumbly for a moment as he tried to process that information. He eventually shook his head, “that can’t be true. I mean, me and Lan Zhan? He’s fun to mess with and he’s definitely handsome, but there’s no way we’re compatible. We’re like total opposites!” He protested.
Huaisang fanned himself, a small smile forming on his face, “I mean, they do say opposites attract Wei-xiong,” he said with a quiet giggle.
Or... After arriving for the guest lectures at the Cloud Recesses, Wei Wuxian quickly realized he and Lan Wangji are fated to be mates. Instead of ignoring this new development, he decides to act on the new feelings forming towards his classmate. Leading to Wangxian getting together much earlier, starting a family, and averting quite a bit of tragedy down the line.
