    While I was hung up writing my “Down the Chimney” story for 2025 (“The Whispering Chateau”) I fell behind on this gift story I was preparing for my beta reader /advisor, Rion. She is fond of angsty hurt/comfort stories with a happy ending. (And I was feeling a need to write some angst!) And so I offer this to her. Happy Christmas!
