And indeed everyone was seeking his attention. Riddle’s Head Boy badge flashed as he turned to the blonde speaking intently at him, then tilted his head towards the girl leaning across her plate to offer her opinion. Another boy casually slung an arm across Riddle’s shoulder, whispering into his ear, and every eye was on Riddle as he responded with a slight curve to his lips and a carelessly tossed remark. He commandeered the table.
“And he’s a mudblood.”
Evelyn snapped back to attention. “What?”
How in Salazar’s name did a muggleborn Slytherin become the Head Boy?
