   Summary

   Statues aren't supposed to take on a life of their own—or at least that's what Percy was always led to believe.

   Too bad Harry doesn't follow the common sense rule.

   
   (Or: after Percy sends Medusa packing sans head, he expects their quest to get back on track. But nothing accounts for Harry and his inability to stay out of trouble. Or alternatively, the basilisk is never blinded by Fawkes and during the chase manages to catch Harry's eye. But rather than die as he should have, he's simply plucked from one universe and plopped into another—right in the middle of Aunty Em's Garden Emporium...as a garden ornament.
