    “But Langa!” Kato covers her mouth and lets herself smile. "I thought–I thought we were soulmates. Surely you could learn to love me with time?”

    “Uh,” Langa starts, and the expression on his face is priceless. “I don’t–I’m not–“

    “What he’s trying to say is,” Reki interrupts, throwing an arm around Langa’s shoulder, “is that we–um, we’re together. Romantically. As a couple, is what we are. Yeah.”
