Summary
He looks like pure sex, dripping with indecency as he grinds his hips up into nothing, unbuttoning another one of his shirt buttons as sweat peppers his chest and glistens under the stage lights. Tom wants to press his mouth to his skin and taste it, lave at his collarbones and bite down. It’s suffocating and he finds himself pulling absently at his collar.
Tom can’t even begin to imagine how on earth this pertains to the plot. He’s fairly sure this one was supposed to be about religion - didn’t he read that somewhere? There’s nothing holy about this at all, and Tom is transfixed.
“Oh my god…” Shiv murmurs next to him, and Tom blinks out of it, fearing he’s been rumbled already, “I think that’s my cousin?”

Summary
Months after the Avengers' dispute in Germany, the team returns to the US and moves back into the tower. As always, everyone pretends that nothing happened. Tony is just fine with this. He's used to pretending, and he'll be damned if he lets any of them see him flinch.
Tony's the bad guy, after all. He's used to it. He's fine with it. He's good at it.
Only now, there's something far worse loitering around the tower - The Winter Soldier. No one notices the guy at first, but when they do, Tony figures that he should have the soldier's back.
Birds of a feather should flock together, and the bad guys should start a book club.
