In a world where Voldemort won the first war, Harry is thrusted into a whole new world that seems to be a dark void of sadness, pain, and anger. People are taken, tortured, murdered, and its at this point in time where Harry might've underestimated how bad it could truly get. Hogwarts, which is supposed to be a space for teaching, is a school of fear and pain.
But avenging his parents, making loyal companions, and finding his mate, makes the hell he’s living worth it.

Summary
When Ron first experienced being cornered after detention in a classroom he never imagined it to be by Malfoy. And being locked in the room with 'His Majesty The Albino Ferret' did not do wonders to his already souring mood.
He just wanted to go back to the Common Room and rest on the couches, with firelight and sticky toffee while Hermione and Harry did their research for the third trial.
But life just wasn't fair was it? Nope. Not at all.
Instead of having peace (well, as much peace as he could get in Hogwarts), he was stuck, in a temporary 'truce'.
Only two rules:
Date Pansy Parkinson.
Help Malfoy date his best friend.Which was fine (Sort of.) He gets to date the love of his life and also watch the disaster of Draco's love life from front row seats.
A win in his book really. He could be the perfect wing-man if he had to be.
So, what if they actually seem to develop a friendship because of this temporary 'truce'? Call it character development.
They had only one goal after all: Date Pansy Parkinson and Harry Potter.
Easy peasy. (Delusion wrote itself honestly-).

Summary
Thanks to Lucius Malfoy being a huge twat, Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy find themselves accidentally bonded and forced to live in the same home. Harry keeps expecting Draco to go all Scorched Earth about the whole thing, but he's being annoyingly calm and reasonable about it all. It's driving Harry absolutely mad.
Or maybe it's more that he's been intrigued by Draco for a while now, and Draco won't give him the time of day. Or maybe that Draco is annoyingly attractive and apparently a good person now or something.
Either way, it's about bloody time they get this stupid bond sorted, don't you think?

James and Lily Potter were not meant to survive.
