He had not borne it with grace, oft too drunk, too weak with fear. But he had borne it for it was his life, and he had borne it in his death.

    He did not know how to bear this: short, plump limbs, a tongue that refused to bend to his will, a mind so overwhelmed with noise and confusion that he could only wail. He was a babe. Daeron the Drunken, first son to King Maekar the First of his name, Brother to King Aegon the Unlikely, Daeron the No Good Dreamer, was alive and well and a babe once again.
