Summary
Following the defeat of Monarch, Paris is transformed by a beacon of hope. The villain that has terrorized them is finally gone, and Paris enters a new era of peace- except for one girl, the heroine herself, Ladybug, who is still plagued by this villain. She made a promise to him in his final moments, one that keeps her up in the night and drowns her in guilt. While the rest of Paris celebrates Monarch’s downfall, the ghost of Gabriel Agreste follows Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Haunted by memories and battle scars, with flashbacks waking her up, Ladybug puts up barriers and refuses to let Chat Noir in, keeping secrets tucked close to her chest. Soon enough, she needs to find out that love isn’t black and white, it’s not the things keeping her awake- but it’s golden.
Lots of Chat finding stuff out and lots of Ladybug not communicating because she’s scared of opening up too much with him and ruining everything. You know, all of that fun stuff <3

Summary
“Ladybug.” She calls out for me. Her blue eyes are duller, staring at me with clinical calmness that almost makes me want to drown in them, and not in this horrible storm of voices and cars and streets and people and—
It’s the first time I hear her voice after I left to do my duty. A decision I should never regret. But choosing it above her, a decision that would only give slight stomach turns, now feels like a lethal mistake.
“Yes?”
“My pulse is steady. I’m not bleeding. I don’t feel like I’m going to pass out.”
I swallow hard, fighting to sound like a hero again. “Help will arrive soon—”
“But…”
My chest tightens. Nothing good ever follows a ‘but.’
“Miss Tsurugi—don’t talk, we will—”
“I can’t feel my body.”Or, Kagami and Marinette are taking the first steps into their relationship, when a civilian, normal, human car accident changes everything to both Kagami and their relationship.
