Now, he wished he hadn’t become so used to human handling. He wished he’d known the intentions of the white coats who’d grabbed him from the water just yesterday morning. He wished he’d fought them before they could do the unthinkable.
Part of him wished he’d been right as a child. The idea of being some human’s meal sat a lot better with him at the moment than enduring this despair.
