Claiming the highest step of the podium is Berwald's dream, one he has achieved in every competition of his career but one—the Winter Olympics. With the countdown to his retirement ticking down, Berwald knows this may be his last chance at the only victory he still desires. Summary
This is a multi-ship, multi-topic sprawl with several plot arcs. All I can say without serious spoilers is that both knitting and Molotov cocktails feature prominently, the question of how livestock science works in the post-apocalypse is thoroughly explored, and by the end of the series you’ll probably have learned a few words of Finnish. It’s about grief, love, magic, chosen family, and connecting with nature. Written over the first half of 2018, and besides minor details compliant with canon as it was then.
